Using the app

BimmerBuddy reads information from your car and can briefly switch its lamps. You use it on a car you own or have permission to use.

Parked only

Use lamp control and light shows only when the car is parked, on private ground, or in Roller mode on a closed road with a passenger running the phone, with nobody in front of it. Follow local rules on vehicle lights. Never operate the app while driving.

Fault information

Fault explanations are general guidance, not a repair diagnosis. Have a qualified mechanic check anything that affects safety.

Clearing faults

Clearing erases stored faults and can't be undone. A fault with a real cause returns.

Pro

Pro is sold through the App Store and charged to your Apple account. The yearly plan renews each year unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the year ends, in your Apple account under Subscriptions. A free trial, when there is one, becomes the yearly plan when it ends unless you cancel before then. Pro for life is one payment. Apple handles refunds.

Errors

The app may have errors. It's provided as it is, without warranties, and our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

Trademarks

BimmerBuddy isn't made by or connected with BMW. BMW and model names belong to their owner and are used only to say which cars the app works with.
